Unblur a photo

Planned as a cloud AI tool: recover apparent sharpness from a soft or camera-shaken photo.

This tool is on the roadmap. The page is here so the workflow, formats and related tools are documented — but nothing is processed and no result is produced.

Sharpening raises local contrast to make edges read as crisper; it cannot undo motion blur or a missed focus. Deblurring models attempt something harder — estimating the blur and inverting it — and produce results sharpening never can.

The models involved are large, so this is planned as a cloud tool and stays disabled until a provider is configured.

What you get

  • Motion and focus blur

Targets the two failure modes that simple sharpening cannot address.

  • Strength control

Aggressive deblurring introduces artefacts, so the amount is yours to choose.

  • Editor integration

Results return to the canvas for further work.

How it works

  1. 1

    Provider check

Disabled and reported when no provider is configured.

  2. 2

    Disclosed upload

Stated explicitly before anything is sent.

  3. 3

    Return to canvas

The processed image loads into the editor.
