Processed locally. Your image never leaves your device.

Keep going without re-uploading

Your image stays loaded in the editor. Pick the next action and carry on.

Cropping is the highest-leverage edit there is. Cutting away the dead space at the edges usually improves a photo more than any filter, and it is the only way to hit a fixed aspect ratio without squashing the subject.

KaiConvert gives you a draggable crop rectangle over the live image, with optional ratio locking. Everything is drawn on the canvas in your browser — the crop is applied to the full-resolution pixels, not to the preview you see on screen.

What you get

  • Free-form or locked ratio

Drag any rectangle you like, or lock to 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:5 or 3:2 and drag with the shape guaranteed.

  • Full-resolution result

The crop rectangle is scaled back to the source image’s real pixel dimensions before it is applied, so you never lose resolution to the on-screen preview.

  • Keeps working after the crop

Crop, then resize, then add text — all on the same loaded image, with undo available at every step.

  • Private by construction

The image is decoded and cropped in your browser. There is nowhere for it to leak to because it never left.

How it works

  1. 1

    Load and select

Drop your image in, then drag the corner and edge handles to frame the area you want to keep.

  2. 2

Lock a ratio if you need one

Pick 1:1 for a profile picture, 16:9 for a thumbnail, 9:16 for a story, 4:5 for a feed portrait. The rectangle keeps that shape as you drag.

  3. 3

    Apply and export

Applying the crop adds it to the history — undo is always one click away — then export to PNG, JPEG or WebP.
