Chrome, gold, neon, glass, inflatable and liquid text are material-rendering problems. Faking them with CSS-style layer tricks looks like exactly what it is, so KaiConvert does not ship a fake version.

Meanwhile the text tool that does exist is real and complete: font, size, weight, colour, opacity, outline, shadow, letter spacing and rotation, rendered at full resolution onto your image.

What you get

  • Real 2D text today

    The add-text tool works now, with the controls that actually make type readable.

  • No fake 3D

    A stacked-shadow imitation of 3D is not shipped as if it were the real thing.

    The generated effects are disabled without a configured provider.

    Text is drawn at full image resolution on export.

Specifications

  • This tool is not implemented yet. Nothing is processed, no image is uploaded, and no result is produced. The page documents the intended workflow and is excluded from search indexing until the feature actually works.
  • Generated material effects are planned as Tier C (cloud AI). The 2D text tool is separate and works today.
